"1982"...A WALK DOWN MEMORY LANE. Jack age "17"

Shortly after he joins the military to become highly decorated at still a very young age... Flying aircraft for the military...

Meeting high profile journalists - flying them by aircraft to visit 'war torn' parts of the world to cover "world news" in the making.

That young boy who grew up in New Castle, lived in Coventry, attended William Penn High on Basin Rd. What a story! An honor to know this young man...

...World Famous Journalists! Jack Latchum, Jr. CW2 meeting with world famous journalists!! Harry Smith - Sam Donaldson - Ted Koppel - Peter Jennings

I love being reminded of Jackie’s Birthday.

This young man was an exemplary individual and in many ways wise beyond his age.

Even as a young teenager he had goals, and never let go of them throughout his life.

He loved family; he was a great husband and father. He was respectful and generous with his kindness.

I’m aware that this sounds more like a memorial than a birthday wish; but this guy was bigger than life to me.

HAPPY HAPPY BIRTHDAY Jackie

I love you dearly and miss you more

God Bless you Jack Latchum Jr. I always thought you were a great teen, and a remarkable adult. I was so proud of you; and so happy to be your Aunt. You were taken from us when you were a young man and I miss you; but I hold you close to my heart forever.

Love
