It all started with Renies' Phoneline that Sr. John hatched back in 1999 with quarterly hard copy bulletins she mailed all over the country. Joan did the annual calendars. Then, I inherited it from Sr. John Marie when she could no longer juggle all the balls back in early 2002. It went on the "Teacher's Web site and became Renie's Hotline. So, more than 15,000+ pics later - here we are. ๐ฒ ๐ฒ ๐ฒ

If it were not for Sr. John Marie - the family "would not" - "could not" be so connected. So just like Dad - one brick
at a time, a legacy was built. I can't begin to 'imagine' how disconnected we all would be without all this "Renie Stuff". We would be virtual strangers in our own "Schauber" family.

Family, I think of all our Loved Ones that we have lost, all the time. I enjoy crocheting because I saw how much our sister Mary Ann enjoyed it. She was good at it. Our sister Joan donated all those years, delivering meals to people in need. They were sick, or just unable to do for themselves. I wish I could drive sometimes, so I could care for the elderly in some way. Well today I had both in mind. Rich and I dropped of about twenty crocheted hats and a couple of neck scarves. Now I know how Joan felt, and why she did as much as she could. It just feels good to do what you can do to help someone. Not long ago I was sitting outside a Dr. office while Rich was in for a check-up. I was crocheting and got into a conversation with a woman. She ask how I learned to crochet and said that she wished she could crochet. It seemed like I saw her before, and said "do you walk the mall". Sure enough that is where I saw her before. I told her that I like to crochet and because I lost a sister to cancer, I donate them to the Helen Graham Cancer Center. With that she said, "I bet I have used some of your hats. She spent nine years fighting 'Breast Cancer". OMG I said, that must have been Hell. Like she said, "there were times. So for Mom, Dad and all our siblings (I can not drink) but let us all raise a glass or coffee or tea cup to them for all they did to help others. Most of all, "Thank You Mom & Dad for teaching us just how important it is and how Good it makes you feel !!!! With Love and Blessings for all you do, Rich & Susan ๐ ๐ ๐ ๐

ย ย Thank You for your kind words, for our Anniversary!!! This Anniversary was so special. Our Dear Lord blessed us with a Fantastic full moon, called the Cold Moon. That moon will not be seen again until 2042. Not sure, but I don't think I'll be on this earth to see that one, so I'll see that one from Heaven. LOL The other special things were a slice of pizza at Tony's Cafe, and we danced to 'Through The Years' by Kenny Rogers. We still can't believe it's #44, more than half our lives. We are truly Blessed!!!!
