I love being reminded of Jackie’s Birthday.Ā

This young man was an exemplary individual and in many ways wise beyond his age.

Even as a young teenager he had goals, and never let go of them throughout his life.

He loved family; he was a great husband and father. He was respectful and generous with his kindness.Ā

I’m aware that this sounds more like a memorial than a birthday wish; but this guy was bigger than life to me.

HAPPY HAPPY BIRTHDAY Jackie

I love you dearly and miss you moreĀ

When you stop and reflect! ...

You think of a young boy adopted into the Latchum family - a Mother from a family who grew up on River Road; then.....Jackie! ... He accomplished more in his short life.... than ever we could hope for or begin to achieve.... "We are humbled by his "Greatness"...

Jack Latchum, Jr. CW2

Yes , he was a great man and father. I can hardly believe he was my brother but I’m definitely a better person for having known him. Miss him everyday and wish he was still here! As they say, only the good die young! And he was definitely one of the good ones!

Miss and love you bro. Mary Dirilo - 6-3-22

We stopped and placed flowers on Jackie’s grave when I was visiting Pops’s grave in April.

As I was thinking about all those that we honored during the memorial holidays he was definitely high on the list of those who deserve the

" highest honor "
