 The tree was named 'Easter Oz'  planted by HENRY on 4-13-12 Frankie's "70th Birthday & also Easter. Oz sent the tree in a tube via USPS years earlier to Regina for Mother's Day. She cared for it in a pot (above). It moved with them from their house on Snuff Mill Hill Rd. The rest is history...

Hi All,

I am proud to make it to the Big # 70 this year. I am enjoying retirement Very Much! I love my family & spend lots of fun time gardening, playing house and enjoying my pets ( both big and small. I feel great ! Although, I can hardly keep up with Frankie. He still works out three times a week with his personal trainer. I am so proud of him. But, I need to catch-up in that area.

I find there is not enough time in the day to get everything done and enjoy my hobbies. But, I don't stress over things like that. I much prefer my hobbies anyway. These are some of the things I have enjoyed this past year.

 Just wanted to give you 'll a shout out and a good news update on Frankie. Seems to be a Good News Week!

Frankie recently underwent a minor surgery on his good leg. We were very nervous , of course. But, Everything went great! FOR THAT WE ARE SO Grateful. 🙏

So we decided to Celebrate.Frankie & I headed to Aiken, SC to watch our beautiful palomino filly, Summer in a big competition. She is still a baby compared to most. The weather was beautiful. The views are spectacular. And, in Aiken people ride their horses thru the town. My kinda vacation! 🐴

I entered my First ever official horse show. 

Believe it or not,  I wanted to do this since I was fifteen.  Geez, where did the time go?

Dette’ just wanted to let you know that I heard back From the man who brought Henrietta safely back home to our house. This may be a story worth sharing.

Just as I suspected, she went down the river path toward Dossville, which is pretty far a walk . But, “Only” if you Take The turn to the right-, it comes out to My Friend’s house. 

He immediately knew something was wrong because she appeared to be lost. He asked her her name and she said she was looking for the carnival he said honey it’s an art show and that’s too far for you to walk. Here’s the best part! 

Totally out of the blue, he asked her if she enjoyed seeing the beautiful meadows surrounding  Dobbinsville .  They are filled withwildflowers and sunflowers. She said yes, they’re beautiful. She still had no idea where she was. 

Then he said, you know who built those meadows for us? The Trustees of New Castle. Miss Regina is my Friend on the board of Trustees.  And, they do that to beautify our little town. Hank responded, “Regina, that’s my sister”   So now he knew who she was, and he brought her safely home. 

There’s no doubt in my mind that Hank had a guardian angel on her shoulder that day I doubt that any of us would’ve known to look for her in that direction down River Road. Or , was it mom and dad?
