This is an 'amazing' family "THE RANDOW'S" dating back many decades starting with the marriage of Joseph Thomas Randow & Henrietta Marie Schauber back in the early 60's. This Marine Corp family has a volume of wonderful stories & memories of an 'incredible life' together, even to this very day. Try spending even a brief amount of time with them and you will be rewarded with 'countless stories of days gone by; of which each and everyone of them is and was a part.

...Their Dad, Joe instilled in each of them the 'gift of laughter! The "Joy of Life"!

I made a promise to my father when he was dying in 2017 that I would vote in the next election. It was so important to him to remove Trump from office. He only had to witness one year of his presidency...thank goodness. My father saw him as a threat then. He was so right. Joe, Your Dad! SGTMAJ J T RANDOW USMC was a huge presence in the Schauber Family. A larger than life personality full of vim & vigor, liveliness, life & spirit is how I remember him. He would bring all the Randow kids piled in the car after driving all night from Camp Lejeune to River Road for a visit. Exciting times for us younger kids growing up on River Rd. Then there was the guitar playing & singing country songs and the endless joke telling. Thanks for the memories Uncle Joe Randow!!

To all the Randow family, know that I love each of you more than a lot. When your Mom and Dad and all the kids arrived, at the River Road house it was the best visit ever. Lots of good conversations with a whole lot more of hysterical laughter and lots of fun. Your Dad visited Mick at two different places where we lived and the laughter never stopped. We love this man and miss him dearly.

I don't know why God always takes the good ones first and man I've tried to be strong and carry on but damn this hurts. I just wish that I could talk to you again somehow, someway even if its for a moment, so I can hear you say; Don't cry for me, I'm alright I'm better than you know. This life can be a short ride So don't waste it on sorrow and just hold on to those moments, and the memories we shared we're both headed for the same place anyway

I just beat you there... I know they say just give it a little time, you'll be ok that might be true but it don't really help me today. And we ain't supposed to question the Man upstairs; But there's just so much I don't understand; it just don't seem fair. Don't cry for me, I'm alright I'm better than you know , This life can be a short ride, So don't waste it on sorrow and just hold on to those moments, and the memories we shared we're both headed for the same place anyway

I loved this man and miss him

He and Hank would visit in two of the houses we once lived in. They would stay for hours, and Joe Sr. kept us laughing hard and talking to Mick non stop. Great memories. Joe Sr and all his children are just like him. full of energy and funny as H-ll!  When the Randow family visited the Schauber's on River Road it was stand up comedy on steroids and each child could perform on their own.

Love your mom and dad and all of the Randow kids. Always
