To My Sweet Sister,

I am sending to each of my dear sisters, an identical locket which celebrates you, and the first family you ever knew. It is the family in which you were born. And because the lockets are all the same, it represents how we are uniquely connected to one another.

We all have new families now, but your birth on this earth placed you in a specific location, with parents that belonged to you and with siblings that are, and will forever be , connected to you.

Hey Frank,

You were the first to wish me Happy Birthday Wishes, save for Bernadette who controls the airwaves (in the best of ways) Double sevens is a neat concept. Thanks for that. Why would you ever take the time to say Birthday Wishes to the likes of me. I don’t respond to all the people I love for reasons that few would understand, Life has been so overwhelming for me, I don’t seem to be able to get off this merry go round.

Still, beyond anything else, know that I think of you and your family often and know my heart is in the right place; just can’t get my head to lie with my heart. Lucky “77” has to be a better year, Right?!

Thank you for the beautiful Birthday film and wishes that continue through the year! I wish I still looked that good but, alas, not a relative in this list would recognize me now. When I see, people I know; but haven’t seen for a long time, I show my license to assure them I am who I am. All in jest, of course, but it brings a good laugh. After Losing 50+ lbs, in the last several years, does that to youi! I don’t recognize myself; but Mick still seems to be Happy with the new girl, so he makes it easy for me!

Hi Kevin,

I love that you always have my back. I knew I could never outwit Joe; and you stepped in for me. Now I have the best of both worlds….always hearing from my favorite “bantering nephews” and wondering each year who will be the lead statement maker and who will follow with the soft punch!
