Well we were up to "10" Great Grandchildren. Now Matt & Mary Ellen Hobbs were just blessed last night with a little girl. Karis Anne, 8lb. 7oz. Another one soon, from Jamie & Joe's daughter. Then in the fall, another from Christie's daughter. At that time it will be a Lucky 13-Great Grandchildren !!!!!!!!!!!!

Family, Mother's Day! ..."2021"

O.K. Ladies, I hope you had a Great Mother's Day. Not me------I had a +_*^#@!~ Fantastic Mother's Day. Christie and Jennifer got together and decided as a Mother's Day gift, the three of us would get together and have a girls weekend. Jennifer and I drove down to Christie's little farm in Md. on Friday and back home on Sunday. Well Friday we did lots of farm chores and such. Sat. I was cleaning the stalls for the horses and two donkeys (very early in the A.M.) All day Sat. we talked our asses off, had a quick meal, and a few more barn chores. At five p.m. we left the barn and directly to a church service. I felt like our Mother, because I sang to the Lord and so enjoyed myself. After the church service, we had a nice campfire. A sweet lady from next door came over and joined us. Now it's Sunday morning. It's Mother's Day and Jennifer's birthday. Well that 'Topped It All Off'. After a very large breakfast, we did some more barn chores. Then--------Yes, I rode Christie's horse. No, I'm not stupid---I was led around for a while. When I felt at ease, I rode the horse (ON MY OWN). Yes in a round, fenced area, BUT I FELT LIKE A MILLION BUCKS, and I don't give a damn about money. I can not believe Our Dear Lord, answered my prayers. I spent the entire weekend, on the farm, with Christie and Jennifer. You talk about a 'Natural High', only heaven could be better than this. Arrived home about 6:00 p.m. and got phone calls and gifts from the other four children. Rich got me roses and made arrangements with Jamie's hubby Joe and son to pick-up a very old desk from a cousin. It came from a hotel that was in Wilmington about one hundred years ago. I've yet to come down from that heavenly cloud. Like I said, "I had a Fantastic Mother's Day".

Family, I can not find the words to describe how Fantastic this Birthday & Easter have been. As Bernadette stated in an earlier email my daughter Jennifer drove almost a thousand miles to be here for my Birthday. My daughter Christie visited on Easter Sunday, with a beautiful & very touching card & a dozen farm fresh eggs !!! I had a wonderful phone call from my son Tom and Tom Jr. Rich & I had a fabulous Easter Sunday, with Great food & fun at our son Tom & Sara Stewart's house. I won 5 bucks on a scratch off from the Big, Old Peoples egg hunt !!!! Our son Michael & his Loving wife Galla Sway sent a very touching text. (please keep the prayers flowing, for Michael). And Jamie, Joe & most of the family dropped by with a card and some absolutely beautiful flowers. I Got My Birthday Wish : I saw or talked to all six of Our Children. Like I said, "The Best One Ever" !!!!! Oh, Thank God I spent all this time with Rich. My Husband, Best Friend & the Love of My Life. Ok I'll cut you all a break and stop now...
